Why Working from Home is Great!

Since my doctor has ordered me to have limited or no mobility I will be working from home for awhile. It's a good thing I'm a web designer and that the company I work for will let me work from home. Hopefully this doesn't last long but while it does I thought I would make a quick list about the added benefits.

  1. I get to sleep in 45 more minutes.
  2. No make-up and I get to wear pajamas.
  3. If I want a snack I just go to the kitchen.
  4. No need to take a whole lunch hour (since going out is not involved).
  5. Save gas money with no commuting.
  6. You can crank your tunes.

just for fun... pick four

  1. Four places I go over and over: home, work, wal-mart..., the denn
  2. Four favorite foods: fried chicken, alfredo, mocha, mini tacos
  3. Four of my favorite places to eat: McDonalds, Little King, Perkins, Garfield's
  4. Four places I would rather be right now: out..., on a road trip, a concert, visiting with friends
  5. Four things I would save if my house was on fire: computer, purse, cell, my bed... you know, if I could throw it out the window
  6. Four TV shows I watch over and over: Will and Grace, Two and a Half Men, Survivor, Scrubs

  • Hot chocolate on a cold wintery day.
  • Road trips with friends.
  • Going to an awesome concert.
  • Having your friends make you your favorite homemade treats.
  • Spending time with good friends.
  • Getting phone calls at 5:00 on Friday to hear the night's plans.

  • A midnight horseback ride.
  • A mocha on about any day of the week.
  • The smell of fresh cut grass.
  • Roasting marshmallows around the perfect campfire.

Songs that put me in a good mood...

Everyone has those songs that automatically put them in a good mood. They are especially good when you wake up to them on your radio/alarm clock, after a stressful day or anytime driving in the car. Well, here are some of my favorites...
  • Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me
  • Lou Bega - Mambo #5
  • Bob Seger - Old Time Rock and Roll
  • Pink - Get the Party Started
  • Garth Brooks - Rodeo
  • Nickelback - (most of their songs actually...)
    • Animals
    • Figured You Out
    • Never Again
  • Collective Soul - Better Now
I'm sure there is many more... so I will try to update this again later. . .

Relay for Life: get involved...

Today we had a fundraising event at Marathon for Relay for Life. It was a great success with Marathon employees doing all they can to give back and help support this great cause. Below is a picture of one of the guys from our Male Beauty Contest going out and helping with donations. Thanks to all that helped out with the event... we really appreciate it!!
