Oh, Christmas Tree...

Not a whole lot to report back to you over the holidays.... but I must say, either I was especially nice or Santa was feeling very generous this year because my car was packed for the drive home...

Anyway, here is a pic of my sister's tree. It is very much real and HUGE.... and all that really stuck out was the angel at the top somehow just sitting there... I thought it was funny...

One bootie on... one off. But seriously, she looks so sad (but cute..)... so no more booties...

Still baking...

It's been a very long day of baking... but I think I am done for tonite. We have a ton of cookies, pretzels, bars, and other stuff that I can't even name (or pronounce maybe?...). To be continued tomorrow where we will be making Ho Ho Snowballs, frosting cut-out cookies... and possibly some other stuff...

Bootie... Attempt One...

This picture is hilarious for two reasons... 1) I have an action shot of Fred's tongue (sweet, right?...) and 2) if you look really close he has little booties on. . .

So every time I visit my parents I wake up to this clickity chickity, chigity clickity type noise at like 6 in the morning ... on a weekend. And yes, I know my random use of "clickity chickity's" don't quite do this dog justice for the noise he makes. So anyway, I went to Wal-Mart and bought him some very pastel little socks for him to wear in the morning. Of course I had to try them out and it wasn't a great success. If you look close he is only wearing 3 booties... yes, after 30 seconds he removed one. So this is attempt one... I'm thinking rubber bands... duct tape perhaps... I'm not quite sure...

Just wasting some time at Ma and Pa's before we head out shopping... and thought I needed to post a pic of their Christmas lights...
